Feasibility Study Pengembangan Sumber Belajar Formal dan Non Formal

Abstract


Waste as a learning resource has been interesting to be used as instructional material in primary level (formal education). It is a need to conduct a feasibility study for non-formal education due to the effectiveness and valuability of waste in helping the learning process. Besides, as a designed and utilized learning resources, the students are trained to aware of their environment. Preliminary research conducted in lower graders of SDN Iwul 03 Parung, Bogor, as a sum of 27 students. This qualitative case study design research showed 92.6% of students know garbage as a learning resource in the learning environment and also know how to make organic compost fertilizer with basic ingredients of organic waste, and 88.9% of students get the right to proper education after utilizing waste as a learning resource. This result is affordable to be the feasibility study of a research design for the continuation of research in non-formal education.
